Yummy’s Donut Palace started the way most family shops do: with a recipe, a fryer, and a lot of early mornings. Our family came to Quincy looking for a place to build something of our own, and a donut shop felt right. Donuts are simple, generous food. They show up at birthdays, in break rooms, after church, and on the front seat of a work truck at sunrise.
Every morning starts long before the doors open. Dough is mixed and proofed, cut by hand, and fried in small batches so nothing sits. Glaze goes on while the donuts are still warm, which is why the first hour is a little bit of magic. Fillings are piped to order, the fritters are shaped one at a time, and the cinnamon rolls take as long as they take.
Where the customer is always king
That is not just a sign on the wall. It means we remember your order, we throw in the extra donut, and we stay a little later when a customer calls about a last-minute breakfast for the office. Our regulars have watched our kids grow up behind the counter, and we have watched theirs go from booster seats to driving themselves in for a dozen.

We are proud to be an Asian-owned small business in a town that showed up for us from the first week. We sponsor school fundraisers, fill church breakfasts, and send donut walls to weddings out on the river bluffs. When you buy a dozen here, it stays right here in Quincy.
